Rail disruption this weekend

East Midlands Railway is warning of major disruption to its services this Saturday and Sunday (22nd & 23rd August) with no trains at all
running between Luton and Leicester.
Market Harborough passengers will instead need to catch a replacement coach shuttle operating in both directions to and from the town.
It’s due to route improvement work as part of the continuing Midland Main Line Upgrade.
The operator is apologising for the late notice – blaming it on delays to essential work encountered during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
