Lock-Down Sees Business Boom At Harborough Bike Shop

Written by on 11th June 2020

George Halls Cycle Centre in Market Harborough is experiencing its busiest ever time as people take to cycling during the lock-down.

Sales of new bikes have rocketed, with over 100 sold in the past few weeks, and hundreds of bikes have been serviced and repaired, with people bringing in cycles that have been sitting unused in sheds and garages for years.

Owner Neil Holman has been working 12 hour days to cope with the demand and for the first time has had to set-up a booking system for people to use who want their bikes looked at.

New bikes have sold out & the showroom is now being used to store bikes that have been serviced & repaired
