A bungalow has been left damaged following a fire in Market Harborough early this morning.
Fire crews from Market Harborough and Kibworth rushed to Shropshire Place after being alerted to the blaze in a bedroom at 1.15am.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire.
The seven occupants, a mixture of adults and children, were able to get themselves out, and weren’t hurt.
The fire, caused by a computer item that overheated, left the bedroom badly damaged, severe smoke damage to the whole property, and caused windows to crack.
A Red Cross Emergency Support vehicle was sent to the scene to assist the occupants.
