Young Campaigners Welcome Climate Action Report

Campaigners are welcoming progress on Harborough Council’s Climate Change Emergency Action Plan – a draft of which has been published for the first time.
It details a number of proposals aimed at making the district more environmentally-friendly and how the Council itself can become carbon-neutral by 2030.

The emergency was declared after young people held the first of a number of protests in the town centre earlier this year.
