Tributes Paid To Hfm’s Soozie Max

Soozie Max

Tributes are being paid to popular Hfm presenter Susan Maxwell, who has sadly died suddenly, aged 69.

Known on-air as Soozie Max, she had been involved with the radio station since when it was first set-up in 1995, and played a big role behind the scenes as a key member of the sales team and organising interviews.

Soozie, who was also a Director of Hfm, co-presented a weekly Wednesday evening show and will be remembered for her ‘can-do’ attitude, not letting her sight disability stand in her way.

Soozie will be sadly missed by all her friends and colleagues at Hfm and our thoughts are with her family at this time.

Hfm’s Programme Controller Chris Jones paid this tribute:
