Xmas Lights Switched On!

Market Harborough’s Christmas Lights have been switched on this evening, with a good crowd gathering on The Square.

Harborough Council Chairman Barbara Johnson flicked the switch during an event hosted by Market Harborough Building Society.

It also marked the start of a three-day Winter Food Festival on The Square and in part of the Commons Car Park and shops staying open late in an ‘After Hours’ event, organised by Harbs Collective.

There are new cross-street displays on Church Street this year and the Symington Building is also decorated in addition to the tree on The Square.
