Christmas Tree Arrives On The Square!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas with the installation of the large Christmas tree on the Square!

Sponsored by Market Harborough Building Society, it will be decorated ahead of the Switch-On event on Friday November 22nd, which will take place at 5pm, alongside a Winter Food and Drink Festival on the Square and ‘After Hours’ late-night shopping event.

Meanwhile, two large diseased trees on The Square in Market Harborough have been cut down.

Council bosses say the Italian alders, adjacent to the road, were felled yesterday for health and safety reasons.

A decision on replacements for them will be taken in the New Year.
