School Falls Silent To Remember

Over 1,000 students and staff at Welland Park Academy in Market Harborough took part in a Remembrance service today, to honour those who gave their lives in wars both past and present.

It included 60 pupils and some members of staff, who are Scouts, Guides, Army Cadets, Air Cadets and Sea Cadets, who took part in a parade in the school grounds.

Readings were presented by students and the last post was paid before a two minutes silence was observed.
