The ‘Work Live Leicestershire’ programme is a partnership of nine organisations, including the County Council, Prince’s Trust, Rural Community Council, De Montfort University and charity Vista, which was handed over £2m of National Lottery cash to run it.

It has already proved a success after being launched in the North West of the county earlier this year.

The scheme works by offering support in searching for jobs and securing training places and will see a regular Work Club held at Market Harborough and Lutterworth Libraries.
