New Bid To Attract Visitors

Harborough Council has put up ‘eye-catching’ posters around Market Harborough Railway Station in a bid to entice travellers to visit the town.
People can also pick up a visitor guide that was launched earlier this year to showcase attractions, shops, cafes restaurants and businesses.

The new advertisement comes after Network Rail’s £53m investment into the railway station and track – with the aim of having a ‘positive knock-on effect for the local economy’.
Cllr James Hallam, the Council’s tourism lead, said: “There are potentially hundreds of people passing through the train station each week and these eye-catching posters will grab their attention and hopefully entice them into the town centre to discover more.”
