Redevelopment Plan Could Be Back On

The multi-million pound plan to transform a derelict site in Market Harborough could be back on after the site was bought.

The site at the corner of St Mary’s Road & Kettering Road

Permission was granted last year for the redevelopment at the corner of St Mary’s Road and Kettering Road.

But the land – part of the former Harborough Rubber site – was then put up for sale, with an asking price of £1.75m.

It’s now been sold, although there are no details yet as to who has bought it and what their plans are.

The previous scheme included a four-storey apartment building…restoration of the historic flour mill into offices and town houses fronting the river.
