Scale Of Job Losses Unknown

The scale of job losses at Market Harborough’s Tesco Metro store is not yet known.

It was announced yesterday 4,500 jobs are being cut by the retailer, with the majority going at its 153 Metro stores nationwide, as part of a shake-up of operations.

Tesco says it’s too early to comment on individual locations, but is working with staff who will be affected.
