‘Scrap Metal’ Van Seized

A driver collecting scrap metal in Market Harborough has had his van seized by Police.

Officers stopped the Romanian-registered Mercedes Sprinter on Welland Park Road yesterday afternoon.
They say the owner, from Birmingham, had no business insurance or waste carrier licence and the vehicle had two bald tyres.
