Patrols Upped After Schoolgirls Followed

Patrols have been increased in the Alvington Way area

Police patrols around Robert Smyth Academy in Market Harborough have been stepped up after a group of girls were followed by a man on Wednesday morning.

The Year Seven students say he was filming and taking photos of them on his mobile.

Other pupils at Robert Smyth and other town schools have also been warned of the incident.

Officers have also been checking for any home CCTV systems in the area of Alvington Way where it happened, that may have caught footage of the man.
