High Court Injunction Issued

A land owner has been issued with a High Court injunction ordering them to stop work on a site in Claybrooke Parva near Lutterworth.

It follows complaints from villagers about hard-standing being created at Wells Close on Woodway Lane, without planning permission.

Harborough Council sought the legal action after work continued despite officers issuing a Stop Notice on Friday.

The injunction also prevents any caravans and mobile homes being put on the site.

The Council says it takes planning enforcement breaches very seriously and will take the necessary legal action to maintain the integrity of the planning law system and protection of the public.
