Warning After Youngsters Followed

A warning has been issued after schoolgirls say they were followed by a man in Market Harborough, who was taking pictures and videoing them on his mobile phone.

It happened on Alvington Way this morning, as the group of three Year 7 pupils were heading to Robert Smyth Academy.

The school says the incident, which has been reported to Police, involved some of its younger pupils and the man was using a black iPhone.

It is advising students not to walk alone to and from school and has issued a safeguarding alert to parents, as well as making other schools aware of the incident.
