Teenage Driver Arrested

A teenage girl was arrested after a car failed to stop for Police in Market Harborough yesterday.
Officers say the blue Vauxhall Adam drove off at speed in Coventry Road at 5.15pm, but was later located and stopped on Logan Street.

The driver, aged 19, was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop for Police, resisting arrest and assaulting an emergency worker.
The car was seized and officers are appealing to anyone with dash-cam footage of the incident in Coventry Road to contact them.
The girl has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
