Local Plan Adoption Moves Closer

Harborough’s new Local Plan, which maps out where development will go over the next 12 years, is a step closer to being adopted.

Members of the Council’s Executive gave their backing to it at a meeting last night – it will now be considered by the Full Council next week, which is the final part of the process.

The plan includes where thousands of new homes will be built, including just over 11 hundred in Market Harborough and 2,700 in Lutterworth.

A Government inspector gave his approval to the document earlier this month.
