The campaign says HSBC is to invest billions in coal power energy projects in countries vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
During the action a letter was handed to the Bank’s duty manager for the attention of the Chief Executive Officer, calling for an end to the investment and for more money to be given to support green energy projects.
Members of the Churches Together in Harborough Justice and Peace Group were joined by students in the action.
HSBC has not commented.
