Campaigners Hire Lorry To Highlight Concerns

Campaigners have hired a lorry to demonstrate their concerns about construction traffic using their narrow road.
The Jagger-naught tried to negotiate Kingston Way in Market Harborough yesterday afternoon – but struggled due to parked cars.
The road would be used to access the site where 128 new homes are planned at Burnmill Farm.
Planning permission was initially granted earlier this month but that decision quashed when concerned councillors ‘call in’ the application.
It will now be re-considered by the Full Council in January.
David Wilson homes, who are behind the planning application, are yet to comment, as are Leicestershire County Council Highways, who say the access would be acceptable.
