£90k River Project Nears Completion In Lubenham

River Welland restoration project in Lubenham

A £90,000 project to transform a 300-metre stretch of the River Welland and create a new wetland is nearing completion.

The finishing touches are being made to the eco-scheme in Lubenham after the Welland Rivers Trust received grants to pay for it.

The improvements are aimed at boosting wildlife and the river environment.
