Plans to install a defibrillator and bleed control kit outside Nationwide Building Society in Market Harborough have been given the go-ahead.
The life-saving equipment will be available 24 hours a day from secure cabinets outside the High Street branch.

Nationwide says the scheme will provide the community with rapid access to emergency equipment when it is needed.
The equipment is designed to provide immediate support in an emergency while people wait for the emergency services to arrive.
