An investigation has concluded the caravan fire that killed two men at the Justin Park travellers’ site on Saturday night was not started deliberately, and is therefore not being treated as suspicious by Police.

Firefighters from Market Harborough were first to arrive and found the small touring-type caravan well alight – a crew from Desborough got there minutes later and an appliance from Corby was also sent to assist them.

Police worked with the fire service in a bid to determine how the blaze started and drafted in specialist ‘fire dogs’ as part of the investigation.
