Market Harborough Summer Fayre
The towns very first Summer Fayre took place on Sunday August 23rd. The event took place at the Rugby club and boasted lots of attractions and entertainment. There was live music on the main stage from many acts including Sweet Molly, AnnMarie Marlow, Pete Morton, The Anne Duggan Band, the Voice 2014 finalist Sally Barker and the Riff Raff Element. There was a Great Market Harborough Bake Off judged by Frances Quinn and also a Teddy Bears Picnic with a competition to find the best dressed teddy.
The weather started off beautifully in the morning, and crowds flocked to enjoy the fayre. However very heavy rain fall in the afternoon meant some of the later activities had to be adjourned to the club house. The event was held to support the Air Ambulance, and the ongoing HFM fundraising drive.
