Specsavers Fundraising Fun Day

Market Harborough’s Specsavers shop held a big charity day on Saturday July 26th. The event was to raise money for Leukemia and Lymphoma Research…

There was an 80s theme to the event at the shop in St Mary’s Place, as contact lens optician, David Pell, was celebrating twenty five years in the job!!

Staff dressed up in clothes from the era, and there was lots of fun and games.

HFM's Graham Beeby broadcast his Saturday morning show live from the shop, Grant Lush broadcast the HFM News buletin live from the store whilst Nick Shaw, Ian Parker, Noony and Radio Rod kept the fun and music going outside the store. More than £500 was raised on the day towards Leukemia and Lymphoma research.
