Market Harborough Flooding
Flash flooding hit Market Harborough on the evening of Saturday July 27th.
Several inches of water built up on roads including the High Street, which led to water flowing into many shops and businesses.
Some homes were also flooded as a result of the terrential downpours.
Here's some of the pictures of the flood and the clean-up that got underway at the shops and businesses affected. (Flood photos by Neil Holman of George Hall Cycles)
Photos include floodwater on the High Street towards Northampton Road, a car stuck in water on Northampton Road, Steff Souter, owner of Steffan's Jewellers as the clean-up continues, pumping floodwater out of Denham's Jewellers, and inside Cooper Estates.
