FUNDRAISER RAISES OVER £700 FOR HFM
Battle of the DJs sensation!
The Conservative club on Fairfield Road was the venue on April 15th for a fundraiser designed to help HFMs appeal.
The event, organised by Richard Tealby, and attended by many of our listeners, featured a raffle, quiz and the infamous Battle of the DJs, during which a number of presenters did their best, or worst, to entertain the audience.
Highlights of the evening included Dave Irving in his Kilt, (with tradditional scottish underwear), Moley dressed as Brian May (or was it the other way round) and a spectacularly bad 'performance' from international singing star Christopher Clutterbucket.
Barry Badger described the evening as 'a great success and proof of the high regard HFM is held in by so many in Harborough.' Chris Jones added 'it's amazing what you will do after a few pints of Tiger!'
Stu Reeves decided to play along with one of his selections. I hope Will is just laughing.
Below is International singing star Christopher Clutterbucket, who came straight from a gig at the Smeaton Westerby Honey & Toffee Miners Social Club. If you listen carefully, you can hear the boos!
Things take a turn for the worse when Clutterbucket attacks I'm Grant Lush.
Below, Alan seems to have said something to scare off Sean Smith
Above, Richard amazes Elaine and below, well like we said, it's amazing what you will do after a few beers.
Don't tell Carlos.
Finally, the ladies get Ooops Upside Your Head and then everyone joins in with New York, New York
