Who is the most famous person you’ve ever met?
This is a difficult one as there have quite a lot, but I will stab at Gerry Marsden of Pacemakers fame & the boss of Radio Caroline Ronan O’ Rahilly.
Favourite Holiday Destination: Southwold in Suffolk or Germany.
Favourite TV Programme / Film: Coast / When eight bells toll.(All things related to the cold war too).
Best Thing about Working at HFM: The gang are genuinely a friendly bunch of people.
Fascinating Fact about Me: I am married to Claire,we have 5 cats(but no mice). I never take life too seriously and see humour everywhere that I go & have always loved nice cars.
Your Favourite Pass Time / Hobby: Building our cd and dvd library. visiting European cities,theatre visits & animal welfare.
Most embarrassing (NOT RUDE!) Moment:
Interviewing some of the cast of Neighbours and knowing nothing about the show because I have never seen an episode.
What made you want to get a job in the radio industry:
When it was time to wind down the drumming jobs I always wanted to be like my radio heroes back to the offshore days, such as Tony Brandon, Dave Dennis, John Peel, Dave Cash & Tommy Vance.
